I am dedicated to providing you with first class service 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The mission of the Houghton Group is to make ourselves available whenever our customers want to work with us, and as often as our customers want to work with us.  It is our goal to work with our clients not only seeing homes, but gathering information, interpreting data, discussing options and going over negotiation strategies. 


I am a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, Certified EcoBroker,  Corporate Mobility Specialist, Quality Service Certified, and an Electronic Professional (Epro).

I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  I have lived in Robbinsdale, Plymouth, Maple Grove, and South Minneapolis.  I am a graduate of Robbindsdale Armstrong High School.  I held several leadership positions in student government and was an active volunteer in our community.  I also competed in cross country running, hockey and was the tennis team co-captain.  I continued playing tennis at St. John's University where I was also the co-captian.  I majored in Business Management, studied international business and minored in Coaching.  I taught tennis in the summers throughout college which afforded me a semester of studying in Ireland and traveling the United Kingdom and Europe.  After college I was a private tennis coach and nanny in Naples, Florida before coming home to pursue a real estate career and propose to my beautiful wife Kate.  Kate is the Spanish speaking part of the Houghton Group but spends more of her time as a counselor with the Minneapolis School District.  Kate and I live with our Golden Doodles Millie and Fergie in Southwest Minneapolis.  We try to experience as much of Minnesota as we can and especially enjoy spending our time with friends and family.
